Al Dhafrah
Date Festival
& Auction

Dune-inspired architecture and palm leaf patterns shape a contemporary Emirati festival experience, connecting hospitality, the date auction, cultural discovery and live activities.

DisciplineEvent & Spatial Design

RoleCreative Direction · Concept Development · 3D Visualization

01 · Creative Concept

Shaped by the Desert. Sand dune contours inspire the flowing structural lines, while palm leaf silhouettes inform the perforated screens and architectural details. Together, they connect form, filtered light and local identity.

02 · Creative Direction

Desert Warmth. Organic Flow. Sand beige, warm ivory, earth brown, bronze, olive and charcoal establish a warm material palette. Curved forms echo wind-shaped dunes, soften the architecture and create a continuous rhythm through the experience.

03 · Visitor Journey

A Journey Through Living Heritage. The journey begins with the outdoor lounge, entrance gate, welcome and photo opportunity, before branching toward the date auction and the AHA stand, main stage and activities.

04 · Final Renders
